Surgery of thoracic spine (T7-T8) meningioma - by P.G. Papanikolaou and T.S. Paleologos, General Hospital of Nikea - Piraeus, Athens, Greece.
This is an intraoperative video showing the microsurgical removal of a thoracic spine meningeoma. The patients was a 72 years old lady harboring a serious paraparesis (preoperative she could move only her left foot and toes). Outcome was very good - 6 months after she can walk with minor assistance.
