Chiari Malformation 3 Years, 1 Month ago
Hi All,

Just wanted to start discussion on the surgical techniques and theory associated with the technique for decompression in Chiari malformation-I with and without syrinx.
As we all know, that the posterior fossa decompression is most commonly performed surgery for these patients. However, a number of variations exist based on surgeons expertise, patient characteristics and so on.. I thought it would be interesting to explore what everybody does in real-world practice and what are you selection criteria for decompression vs no decompression; or intradural vs extradural or intraarachnoid vs extraarachnoid?

Below are the link of couple of my Chiari papers.
